Anger and Aggressions:?
Today when I look around, when I read newspaper or watching Television or even interactions on social media, invariably see Anger & Aggression as one of the common denominators in our social system. It is between Individuals, even relatives, religious, social, political groups. Even the anger is emitted from states, Nations and their respective leaders.
The Anger & Aggressions leads to physical or verbal violent confrontations originating from conflicting concepts & intersecting views invariably on account of Nation, national interests, cultural, religious beliefs & even dietary or dressing styles. Also, when we feel that our resources or it’s access may be challenged or endangered. Our patriotism, National egos & it’s reciprocal reactions (including that of by standards’) leads to a vicious growth cycle of anger and aggressions. We do pay for the cost of war in terms of life, loss of property and the loos of opportunity for the growth. Also, mental desertion is the burden we carry it forward for the rest of Life.

The anger originates from our Fear that our set boundaries of freedom, possessions’, beliefs may be intercepted or altered by others. We are afraid that others’ beliefs may be thrust upon us forcibly & that makes us to react. Fear can be linked to possessiveness. I fear and hate my neighbours across my national border because they might take away from me, what I consider mine (and only mine). It is our belief that we must possess at all costs, even at the ultimate cost of WAR & mutual destruction.
It is the HATE which fuels the Fear. Hate is the most dangerous and deadly poison which causes the maximum damage not only to our emotional and psychic well-being, but to the health (and well-being) – physical and emotional – of all those with whom we interact, directly or indirectly. Hate is the most negative and most oppressive cancer (if I may call so), and the quantum of hate seems to be growing all over the world, often fuelled by sectarian strife sparked by differences in religious or ideological beliefs.
So, to control the aggressiveness and Anger, we must strive to live with healthy mind. To achieve this at every stage when we are confronted, we must look at the issue as if from other end. Or put yourselves in other’s shoes. We need to be considerate to others and also respect their beliefs. Empathy and compassion should be the way of life

2 年Very true indeed. Because! We all are biased in a formatted framework ,which is a state of our peace. Once we note something different ,in whatever format that does not appeal to us ,our peace gets disturbed. It's like the pain in others; we do not feel or manifest , which makes it difficult to put in others' shoes until we really feel that pain ourselves. Very good thought that we have manifest and internalized the feeling of pain or hurt in others for us to earn peace. Good post Vinod Dahake
