Issue 70: I Know This All Too Well

My friend Ami Diamond shared with me this morning that he has the new schedule post feature on LinkedIn. I checked and my mobile app doesn’t have it (yet!) and it’s up to date.

Then after posting these screenshots I am further tormented by features that I’ve seen Clarene Mitchell use (the new carousel post format!) and learn more only to find out I don’t have this either!

Good to know it’s rolling out and that soon I’ll have it.

We are just under the two week mark for the Microsoft Alumni Network LinkedIn Chicago Tour graciously arranged by Kathy Marshall. I’ve found a Microsoft backpack and some stickers for Kathy and the #MicrosoftTeams M&Ms will be following!

To celebrate their generosity to us, I’m also arranging a tour of the Microsoft Technology Aon Center in the afternoon of Thursday, December 15th! It should be a jam packed afternoon as we host our final Journey To The Cloud Live Stream that afternoon as well!

We’ll end the day at the 70th floor bar (Chicago’s highest amenities floor) and network with Jamey Druger from Ribbon Communications as well as several Microsoft employees like Eden Porsangi, local MVPs like Ralph Rivas (MVP MS Biz Apps), Edward Gallagher and Michael Blumenthal, MCTs like Gary Gumbiner, CPA, Authors like Bill Kulterman and other Microsoft partners like Ray Young.

I’ll continue to spread the word and if you work for a Microsoft partner, customer or would like to network with others, the Microsoft Technology Center event begins at 1 pm on 12/15 and I just need your interest in attending and I’ll keep you informed on our event in downtown Chicago!

As LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft I wonder how new integration will show in Microsoft products (SharePoint, Teams , Delve).I have seen it in Teams as a Tab but looking forward seeing more. Maybe bring to LinkedIn, Microsoft features of collaboration and communication
