The end of the year is a time for review, reflection, and planning. Where can we save money? How can we work smarter? What do we need to do to maximize profits in the new year?
Since so many contracts are signed in the 4th and 1st quarters of the year, it makes sense to do a comprehensive review of technology in use. Is it doing what’s needed for the best results and answer those questions in that first paragraph?
You shouldn’t be surprised to learn that, on average, most SMBs use 10-16 separate single-point applications for marketing, sales, customer support, onboarding for customers and new employees, project management, event management, surveys, and much more. Every business has those little inefficiencies that may seem insignificant until you add them up and start to realize the true cost.
You’re probably also well aware of these inefficiencies in your own business. Every time you have to search through an email chain to decipher the status of a project, approve a simple purchase, or send forms back and forth to bring on a new client or employee and worse, misplace those executed documents.
Not only is every instance frustrating, over time they represent hours and hours of lost productivity, lost opportunities, lost revenue.
Happily, with planning and the right business automation tools, you can solve these problems and more. Operations become streamlined, time is freed up for more high-value work, and everyone is happier.
30% of employees believe automation makes their job better, and nearly half of executives say it has already transformed their business for the better.
To discover which business automation tools are right for your business, take a careful look at how you and your employees currently spend your time each day. If you discover a process that’s needlessly repetitive or demands a disproportionate amount of time for little return, you’ve found an opportunity to automate.
Every business is different, but there are some common automation upgrades that can make a dramatic difference in the way you conduct your business.
We’ll go into detail in our follow-up post tomorrow! If you’d like to get the full series including the review worksheet, message me on LinkedIn with your email address.
