To achieve high performance your team needs to be in alignment.

It's similar to ensuring your car's wheels are in alignment - it optimises driving stability and improves your vehicles overall handling performance.

Your team all need to be in alignment with the goals and values of the business to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and high performance.

Without it, you can expect to be in for a bumpy ride!

There are two key reasons why teams fail to achieve alignment:

1?? Team doesn’t understand what alignment means.

2?? Lack of trust in the organisation – prevents honest & robust conversations.

In order for you to be successful your team needs to all be moving in the same direction with a strong sense of:

OWNERSHIP and ACCOUNTABILITY

to create the MOMENTUM you need.

Given that 76% of Australians said that they have reprioritised their life to spend more time on what is important to them according to the McCrindle Australian's Post Covid Report, there is a very good chance that your employees priorities have indeed changed and may no longer be in alignment with the priorities of your organisation.

How do you know if your team are in alignment?

As a first step, you can take the Team Alignment Survey that measures alignment within your organisation and team to understand your starting point. Once you know the cold hard facts, you can then implement strategies to ensure you have alignment.

If you would like to know more about how to do this, please send me a DM, email [email protected] or book a time to chat here https://calendly.com/julie-hyde/chat
