"I hope" is a phrase I used to use until I made the connection to what it really means on a deep mental and emotional level.
I have learned to take a new approach in my life along with profound shifts in my perspective as the creator of my reality in which I live and continue to design.
To use the word "hope", by definition, to me, doesn't make sense if we truly want to be the creator of our lives.
The word "hope" is defined as the following - "Noun: a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. Verb: want something to happen or be the case."
Faith, on the other hand, is defined as "complete trust or confidence in someone or something".
To me, faith is a specific feeling and belief that's connected with our unconscious mind which affects the way we show up in life and the reality we create.
I like Jim Carrey's approach to the word "hope" by saying "hope walks through the fire when faith jumps over the fire".
Faith doesn't mean religion, faith means to have COMPLETE trust in something that we can not see or that which has not yet manifest.
To me, to say we hope for an experience, object, time, person, etc. is to say we don't completely believe or trust in what we desire.
This creates a disconnect with our conscious thinking mind and our unconscious mind, which leads to our body and mind being out of alignment. Then, we wonder why we are not happy with various aspects of our lives.
Well, we created the reality we live in, consciously, or unconsciously.
If you want to learn more about how this works and how you can begin consciously creating your ideal life, and sustain this ideal life, I'd love to talk and share what's helped me and see if it resonates with you.
