I heard once that you can’t outrun your fork & I was a living example of that.

You see I was one of those people who built a solid habit of exercise but thought I could keep eating what I wanted as long as I put in the work at the gym. The pounds would just fly off, right??

WRONG!?Those are completely unrealistic expectations. You must address both diet AND exercise habits to really move the needle in the right direction.??

Turns out you can’t out-train a poor diet.?That very day, I started doing some research and learned this was a common misconception.?Many of us think if we just stay disciplined with exercise, spend hours in the gym, & pursue tough training, that we’ve earned the right to eat as much as we want and choose whatever we please.?

You do have free will but that approach won’t get you far and will likely leave you disappointed & confused on a cold bathroom floor just as it did me.?

So true. I could not lose weight until I started couning my calories. I had not realized how much I was eating.
