I hear ya: 2023 kicked your butt. ?? ??

2023 hit a lot of people really hard… and don’t even get me started on 2024. ??

The layoffs seem never-ending + they’re not discriminating either. I’ve heard from so many people who were positively thriving in their career until now.

The decision to let them go was a shock to their system. They feel like the rug has been yanked out from under them.

If you’re goin’ through it right now, please know you’re not alone. It’s not just you. ????

Here's the kicker—

The things that used to work aren’t working anymore.

I can’t say it enough:

If you’ve sent out 100 applications without a response, STOP.

Don’t send out another one.

The “same old, same old” isn’t going to work.

Times are a’ changin’, and learning all there is to know about the job market NOW—not the job market pre-COVID ??♀?—is going to make all the difference.

The pandemic upgraded my mindset like CRAZY.

…because that was the moment I saw clearly who was crumbling with it, and who was rising up out of the ashes to create a better opportunity.

???? I could clearly see the people who were pivoting, thinking ahead, and doing things totally differently.?

???? I decided I wanted to think like them too, &

???? I hired one of them to be my coach!

The result? I had one of my best months ever. I even got invited onto podcasts to talk about how I did it.

Here's how the pandemic changed me…?

Pre-pandemic: I was at the mercy of the economy.

Fluctuations in the job market scared the living ?? out of me.

That’s when I decided I would never be at the mercy of things changing ever again.

My new plan wasn’t to resist or deny these challenges but to roll with them. To change right alongside them.

I get it. If you’ve recently been laid off and haven’t looked for a new job in years, it’s scary to get back out there.

You can either crumble under pressure or rise to the occasion. Learn to see challenges as opportunities to get out of your comfort zone and excel at something new.?

My point??

NOW is the time to listen to and honor your most creative self and get into alignment with who you are deep down at your core.

Do you hear that? ??

It's the call to STOP prioritizing the things that won’t matter to you on your deathbed.

It's the call to let go of the relentless self-protection and self-defensiveness and step into real, vulnerable human territory where you can be seen, heard, and valued for exactly who you are.?

It's the call to be more authentic, courageous, and compassionate.

To let value lead the way and, in doing so, naturally expand your career. It's not going to be easy.

It's not just a tactical change.

This isn’t a cheat sheet or 5-item checklist.

It’s not an app or time management software.

True change comes from actual soul-searching—from diving deep into our minds, hearts, and spirituality.

Ask yourself,

?? What spiritual shifts do you need to make?

?? How are you going to show up from now on? When are you going to say yes? When will you say no?

?? What “challenges” are guiding you on your serendipitous new path?

?? What are the inner resources you didn’t have to cultivate before that are now being brought to the surface?? It's the end of “same old, same old.” I believe in you. You can handle whatever’s next.

Consider this: What feels like a scary setback may not be a setback at all. In fact, it could be THE push you needed all along. The push to return to your strongest, truest self. ?
