I have witnessed the respect of society decrease.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that human-to-human respect has gone out the window, especially between young teens in society and between generations.

As I have been wandering the malls and shops over the last year, I have made it a mission to listen to those conversations around me.

?

Here is what I recognized:

?

Respecting your elders is a thing of the past. However, is it the child’s fault?

?

Everyone knows that past generations have dealt with this evolution differently, although things seem to have been greatly overdramatized.

?

The digital age has created a whole new level of impatience and instant gratification.

?

This is a time that we have never experienced before.

?

It’s a whole new world, as "Aladdin" says.

?

"We are experiencing things at an even more intense and rapid pace that seems to be evolving daily."

?

What’s also coming along with this is a lack of fundamental manners...

?

Why?!

?

Are we afraid of teaching our kids discipline? I’m not talking about punishment; I’m referring to showing them and educating them on fundamental values.

?

Have these values disappeared in the home? Or is it just my perception?

?

What’s your input? Or considered it.

?

Chris Jami says in his book "Kilosophy":

?

"When I look at a person, I see a person—not a rank, not a class, not a title."

?

I mean, let’s even look at this in a healthy-well-being manner.

Let’s talk about the pink elephant in the room.

?

The reason that self-help will be a smashing industry is because many of those individuals have been disrespecting themselves for such a long time, losing what lights them up, looking for a new sense of aliveness...

?

Even I have been part of that, and no doubt you, the reader, have too.

?

What is it that I can share that will assist in our growth together?

?

Look for role models who have achieved what you want to achieve and research them. implement and continue to grow

?

Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino says in her book: "The Change"

?

"True change happens when you align your heart, your truths, and your energy."

?

This is what came to mind when I read this: alignment!

?

I believe that when you’re living in alignment with your highest values and beliefs, This is not a new theory... However, very few thrive this way. I believe many individuals are serving to prove themselves.

?

I've been there, and I've done that! I know the feeling.

?

People don't want to change until they have no choice; until something dramatic occurs that gives them something to talk about.

?

I’ll let that sink in.

?

It is up to us to share our values with the younger generation and also learn what their generation is all excited about.

?

That’s our task!

?

Our tasks include listening, respecting their model of the world, and at the same time teaching them how to respect ours.

"One survey found that more than half of Gen Zers feel more insecure without their smartphone than without their wallet." Social media is a huge trend for this generation. Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok are, by far, the most frequently used platforms. One-quarter of Gen Zers spend five hours or more per day on TikTok.

I believe the best way to create a solid connection between the younger generations and others is to listen to each other respectfully and acknowledge each other's differences and what we bring to the world.

Teaching good old-fashioned fundamentals as well as listening to their first-world demands

?

Why?

?

So we can all benefit from future prosperity.
