I HAVE STOPPED WORRYING ABOUT "MONEY"

It’s a natural priority to make “money” and we are all preoccupied with doing something to get money and more of it.?

At some point, I used to worry a lot about making money due to several reasons including growing demands.?

In the process, I wake up each day asking the question “How do I make money?”.

The more I asked this question, the more I became preoccupied with the outcome than the process.?

Then, I figured I wasn’t making money the more I asked about the how.?

I began to rethink the concept of making money and after some time, I discovered no one ever made (got) money asking about the how.?

I discovered you make money from the “value” you create and leverage. And a look at how the most admired billionaires become one validated this concept for me.

Since then, I have stopped worrying about money. (Also, not because I have made money)

Today, I worry a lot about the “values” I can create through the work I do.?

I am more concerned now about building capacity, developing myself and my team, building the right network, engaging in the appropriate conversations, and building new partnerships that align with my goals, etc.?

I am all about “values” now and worry less about money with the belief that when I build the right value, it will unlock the money. And I need you to know and do this too (if you are not doing it already).?

So, this week, don’t wake up each day, asking “How will I make money?”?

Rise each day asking how you can add value to yourself, what you can get better at, what new skills you can acquire, how differently you can do your work, what new relationships/partnerships you can forge, what difference can you make to our world of work and life among others.

Worry less about “money” and be concerned about “value”- that’s what unlocks wealth.?

This approach may take time, but it is definitely the means of making money, sustainably.?
