I have just launched the altAccelerator

Have you ever considered joining a tech accelerator? the likes of Y Combinator, TechStars or locally StartMate or Muru-D?

This time last year I went through a tech accelerator with my last Brisbane start up SKWOD (a fitness app). Our product was not ready so we could not get the true value from the process. Since then I have a new startup that is close to launch.

Having been through an accelerator I value the process. Applying these processes in a vacuum could get lonely ;) so here goes! ... I have created a Facebook group where as founders we can each report on our NFGs (no-fail-goals) failed or exceeded and set next weeks target.

In this virtual 'stand up' we also post calls for help which could be advise, a contact or boosting a post.

What is the altAccelerator?

In short, the altAccelerator is a free Facebook group for fellow startup founders who want to apply the principles and practices of an accelerator.

The goal of this alternate accelerator is to keep us each accountable to our 10 week goal and offer support in a structured weekly format.

It is free, there is no need to give away equity (and conversely no funding given!), just simple and open accountability to a community of fellow founders who are sharing the journey.
