I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
When I meet a new prospective client I often tend to tell them that this or that won't work, as I have tried and tested it. Even when it may make them loose their enthusiasm and get frustrated. I need to do this as having my experience in my field I have indeed seen a lot and I have the confidence to say that. I can say I know what works and what won't work. It doesn't mean it failed, as you have to have perseverance to keep going, imagination to find new ways and try yet new ways, take risks.
I do this as this is where I add value - I have experience and exposure in my domain to what won't work which will save the client time and money from efforts that won't work and would lead nowhere. Instead, we can together go find ways that will work and will lead to finding more ways to grow and expand, delight the customers and invent new solutions and services.
