I have a confession to make...and I need to make it publicly

Back in 2015, I launched an online called the True Speaking Success System, which gives some really specific and effective strategies for selling and marketing for professional speakers. Since it launched back in 2015, I have made hundreds of thousands of dollars from it and helped many professional speakers help tens of thousands of people.

But something wasn't right...

The more successful the course became, the more I kept feeling myself pull away from it. And I couldn't understand why.

I realized why I cared so much about learning marketing and selling and business techniques. It’s NOT because I’m super juiced up about marketing. I’m not super juiced about selling. I’m super juiced up about making an impact. I’m excited about helping people get unstuck, find their voice, and change their perspectives. I’m excited about helping people realize they can be great if they just decide to get out of their own way.

And I realized the better I got at sales and marketing, the more opportunities I would have to help people.

So I created a course that was 100% about how to create a successful speaking business (and I kept speaking professionally myself, unlike most coaches who teach but don’t do what they teach). The True Speaking Success System was about the Xs and Os of the business and craft.

And though the course and coaching program was successful and I was getting results for people...

I had this weird sinking feeling around True Speaking Success System...

I would see some of my students whether coaching clients or people who just purchased the online course do exactly what I showed them and they were crushing it. It brings me crazy joy to see my students crush it!

But there were others who weren’t taking the actions I knew they should in the way I knew they could. Or if they did take action, it was at best half-hearted.

Then I started to wonder “Was I doing something wrong? Was I not helping them the way they needed?"

Then, to be honest, I started doubting if I should keep going. I have never been about just taking people’s money, I genuinely want to help them.

Then I realized something that was nagging me for years but didn’t know how to put words to.

Until now...

Though I spend a lot of time learning about marketing and sales, what I REALLY get excited about, that I learn for fun not just for some goal and can talk for hours about and get jazzed about is more the deeper aspects of what makes life worth living, how to overcome our mental barriers, where these barriers come from, how to overcome them, how to get rid of the mental trash we think is the truth but really isn’t, how to be more effective when communicating to people, how to understand how humans tick and how do we silence the noise and focus just on what our unique message to the world is that makes us feel alive and gives life meaning.

That is the kind of stuff that gets me excited, and that’s the kind of stuff that was not in my first online course at all.

I realized I wasn’t being fully authentic to myself.

I didn’t put it in my course because I kept telling myself “Even though this is what people really need, it’s not what they want” I felt like most people are not like me. That I’m wired differently. I started to believe that there was only a very very small percentage of people who actually care about working on themselves and the large majority of people out there just want hacks and externally focused strategies.

I realize that if I want to help people I have to layer entrepreneurial, marketing, and selling strategies ON TOP of personal development.

The strategies will work once laid upon the right foundation...

I am going to be diving into this in much more depth and show some specific examples of what I mean so I hope you join me on this journey and keep opening up your next few emails. I have a feeling they will be the most important emails you read about creating a successful personal and professional life through some very unique ideas & techniques.

If none of this interests you, if you are just someone who thinks the deeper aspects of life are stupid, you should probably unfollow me now and save yourself some time.

If you know life is about succeeding professionally layered on top of important personal work, I can't wait for you to see what's next.

Wishing you authentic success,

-Arel
