I Have Cloned Myself...Almost
I have always tried to see the silver lining in bad situations. The last 7 months have been trying for all of us. I don't think I need to go into that right now, we have had some major wins and some setbacks. Today, I want to focus on the good!
As I am writing this, I am actually exhibiting at a trade show, a virtual trade show! Between customers, I answered a few emails and did some work. Then, it struck me...how cool is this!? I am working a trade show and taking care of other tasks simultaneously! In the past few months, together with my customers, we have made virtual joint sales calls, done trade shows, had a virtual coffee and done some strategizing together.
Pre-COVID, a great day in my world would be 4 appointments. Trust me, that is a very full day. Between driving, setting up, presenting, and packing up, a full day was spent and then some! A trade show could equate to 1.5 days when you factor in setup and tear down of a booth. Today, I can do phone calls, emails, appointments and a few virtual trade shows in a day! Talk about efficiency!
The bottom line is that if you take advantage of the current environment you can be successful. While nothing will ever replace, real face to face meetings, it is important for us to meet where you are comfortable! That could be in person or on Zoom! Now is the most important time to promote your brand, recognize your employees and let your customers know you are still there. Let me help you with that!
