I hate becoming a brand
Forget about the internet, cable TV, cellphones, smartphones and even Netflix. Social media. It's because of social media that we left the private life, the discreet life, the neighborhood life, the family, high school, co-workers life and became brands.
Nowadays you are a brand, you have become a brand. And hold on, this is getting worse by the minute. The more you delay your baptism on social media, you are on your route to be forgotten. You might be saying "yeah, but i don't really need to expose myself on the internet to become profitable" Not yet. But. You will in the near future.
Google, AI and voice is eaten up our lives to the point that the more you let people know what is it that you are good about, the more you people will knock on your door the minute they need your services.
SEO. That was a big word not too long ago, few experts, few people willing to take chances, however, the ones that took those changes are now ripping the rewards of being first and having the upper hand when needed.
Social media seems to be accessible for everybody, and it is, but not for too long. It will come the time when you will have to fight for a place on the internet and if so, you will have to pay a lot of money to be raked on top of the Google search. Today, it is still cheap but it won't last forever.
If you don't become a bran now, somebody else will and that "somebody else" will take your clients, your business and your future. So, in other words, your future is now, is it today that you have the chance to utilize the social media to become a brand. A brand in the marketplace. It's up to you, the only problem is that is now or never. No brand, no nothing.
