In this assignment, my Digital Marketing class was instructed to use ChatGPT to write about "the future of digital marketing, including artificial intelligence." In the process of navigating this assignment, I found that tweaking the chat box and regenerating responses several times until a satisfactory outcome presents itself to be the best - if not the only strategy in using this platform to do my homework, per say.

In my trial 1 "chats," I purposed the question regarding the future of digital marketing and AI's impact on such. The results were too AI-focused and did not cover enough on other components of the digital future. So, in trial 2 I chose to eliminate the AI part of the chat to see of it would still include said information in the response regardless - and I was right.

My Critique:

As someone who has not used this platform before, I am impressed. Although I am satisfied with the final response I landed on; most of the other one outcomes were fairly similar no matter how many times I tweaked the sentence structure or regenerate the responses. However, this might be an issue on my end from a creativity standpoint. I'd have to put the system to use a few more times to develop a more well-rounded opinion in the future.

Albeit, there is no denying this can be a useful tool for anyone looking for a shortcut on research or finding solutions to problems. I would suggest users to fact check the information it responds with, and find the sources to back the claims it presents if they were to hypothetically use this for academic purposes. Similar to Wikipedia is for academic research, it seems like a good place to start.
