I Gave My 1st Tarot Reading & Got Egged On My Face

Yes, you heard me right. Me and the tarot cards.

I've been steering away from all kinds of cards as well as of structured personality test no matter whether the approaches are intellectual driven or spiritual.

Fortune telling is a big part of my original culture, from the overall fate revealing to whom should one marries.

I was both insanely curious about fortune telling and diligently did my best to steer away from it.

From my experience growing up, fortune telling brought more sorrow and despair to people than joy and peace.

I did have one Tarot reading for myself once.

Curiosity got the better of me.

I was at that turning point in life when I got out of depression, quit my corporate job for the first, announced to go to Italy for fashion and I had no plan or slightest idea at all.

It felt both extremely exciting and fearsome at the same time.

It was 15 years ago and I only remembered one thing after I went out from that reading.

It was the Magician card, reversed.

I didn't remember the way the lady explained to me.

What I got out of it was that my life would always be how I made it and I was born to conjure something out of nothing.

This reading changed me in some fundamental way.

It set a new course for me to create the person I was.

Whenever I hit a tough spot, I reminded myself I was THE Magician.

Regardless my own unexpected yet wonderful transformation from one single reading,

I haven't really like what I saw in the divination realm.

Like all personality test, it became an excuse for NOT being than an empowerment of the freedom to be.

That's why I have been insisted on working with clients in ways of free flow of the mind or the intuition.

Afterall, if the answers are already within, why do we need to read other books for answers, right??!!

Mind you, my curiosity about Tarot cards didn't diminish over time.

After I have been practicing channeling spirits and extraterrestrial beings**, about a week ago, I got an guidance to get myself a deck of Tarot cards.

"What?! No....."

My mind countered my intuition.

When I received this guidance, I also saw a vision of expansion and my own next step of learning.

I didn't just get one deck of Tarot cards; I ordered 3 and preordered a few more.

I was more excited than anything finally letting go the resistance against my curiosity.

And right away, I gave the very first reading.

My sister was over the moon hearing I was getting the cards.

She has her own way exploring the spirituality in this human life. She owns more oracle cards than I could count.

I followed the basic interpretation of the cards and let my intuition guided me through the session.

And admittedly, after disagreeing and resisting all the divination tools for so long, I got egged on my face.

Cards are such wonderful tool for people who are not able to directly connect with their own energetic guidance a direct, tangible sense of their inner knowing.

I am still a firm believer that all answers are already within.

I am still a firm believer that when it comes down to it, it's all about the creation in this physical human life.

No matter how magical the woo-woo is, the magic has to be implementable to create in this human life.

And yes,

I don't intend to follow rigid rules of reading the cards but to let the image and my intuition guides me.
