In my previous post from reflection of work series, "I found my Sunshine", I shared my realization that we have to reflect within ourselves in order to get us going. But it is not the end, it is the beginning of the battle, to learn to maintain a balance and to keep going and not losing ourselves in the path of finding our sunshine. To find light within yourself especially in the dark, gloomy times is not easy. It is not easy to walk down the dull, dingy dark alleys of your life and it is here we need our light the most, be it day or night outside. But the real question is how to keep it for rainy days?
True no amount of rain can wash the bickering and no amount of sunshine can brighten our days until we learn to reflect inwards but the problem is, unlike sun, moon, clouds, rain etc we are not designed to do one thing. We can not rise and shine like Sun every day with same intensity and energy and we can not whine and grumble all day long. We are continuously affected by our surroundings and it disturbs and disrupts our core. Just like a clear sky gets cloudy, our inner self also gets shadowed by our surroundings. But if we keep on reacting towards external stimulus we can not be at peace.
Our ability to get affected by what is happening around is in direct relation to our internal strength. How much weight we give to things, people around us and get affected is a true depiction of how fragile or strong we are from inside. True external rewards or rejections can only enhance our joy and sufferings but they cant create one for us until we derive strength from within ourselves and what we can do is to build ourselves; work to keep our inner flame alive. To make it brighter on rainy, cloudy and windy days.
It is a continuous struggle but solace is on trying!
Cheers :) Have a Happy Week and an End(weekend)!
