“I followed my intuition and proceeded”

A few days ago, one of my coaching clients urgently reached out, seeking a coaching session. We sorted out the scheduling, and I also briefed him on my current fee structure, which might have been unfamiliar territory for him.
He indicated his intention to connect soon. However, 'soon' stretched into a ten-day wait, and upon my follow-up, his response caught me off guard: “I followed my intuition and proceeded"
Reflecting on this, I pondered whether my mention of fees may have deterred him or if the situation was less urgent than initially conveyed.?
This week, I’m diving into when and how much should you invest in coaching / pay to a coach?
Before we get into that space of how much should you pay a coach. It is important to know what value a coach brings in?
So let's start with knowing : What is value and how do you define it for you?
Value is “an amount, esp a material or monetary one, considered to be a fair exchange in return for a thing”
So, What is the value of getting where you’re going 100 times faster? Or feeling more alive every day, of being healthier in your mind and body and spirit? Of having someone believe in you when you don’t?
One of my coachee who left her full time work and started her entrepreneurial journey shared this with me:?
“Sitting at my desk, I felt stuck staring at my computer screen, clicking around without really doing anything important. It was a familiar feeling of wasting time. I promised myself I'd do better tomorrow, but the next day felt just as unproductive. Then there were days I felt like I could do anything. Ideas flowed easily, and I felt more excited and encouraged to get more done in those meetings than I did in hours by myself.??
What's the difference? Difference is of the energy, positive influence and looking forward to completing and discussing it with the person. Not all of us have such people around us and a coach can be someone for you.?
A coach keeps you in massive action, and massive action is the only way that you achieve your results and that decides the value of the coach or willingness to pay for a coach.??
The reason people don’t achieve the results, the reason diets don’t work,? the reason people don’t make money is because they don’t stay in massive action because they can’t keep themselves inspired enough to stay in massive action.
"The International Coaching Federation found that 80% of people who took coaching reported increased self-confidence and 70% reported improved work performance, relationships and communications"?

A group of coachee's were asked “What connecting with a coach gives you?”
In response, the below were the most repeated words shared:
For me Coaching has helped me do more – experience more, create more, dream more, manifest more, happy more, time more … The list is endless.
Thus, value of coaching depends on what you achieve and how you see the benefits.
Let's move to next question of "How much should you pay for Coaching???
The coaching costs differ based on expertise, experience, specialization, and geographic location of the Coach. And there are different pricing structures that are available which start from hourly rate to package deals or subscription models.?
"The Manchester Consulting Group studied the impact of coaching and found that the average return on investment (ROI) for companies investing in coaching was 5.7 times the initial investment"
Each one assigns a value to a transaction in terms of their own experience, need and availability. However ROI on coaching and perception of that ROI vs value of an investment will differ from person to person.?
As you explore a coach for yourself, maybe having answers to the following questions might help:?
In a nutshell, coaching definately speeds up progress and boosts motivation. Prices vary based on the coach's experience and expertise. To decide if it's right for you, consider your goals, how often you'll meet, and if you can afford it.
Opt for a discovery session and ask other clients for feedback. Ultimately, it's about finding a good fit between your needs and what the coach offers. So, take your time to explore options and choose what works best for you.?
