I Was Focusing on the Wrong Things

My background:

I got married young and broke. We had nothing but a few old cars and student debt to our names.

?This was my first-time managing money not just on my own. He had thoughts and opinions too.

As our money conversations started to intensify, I knew that we had to do something different.

I have seen close-up what money fights and arguments were doing to marriages. Money issues can drive people apart.

And that made me scared for what could happen to me and my husband.

?

I wished that we could be the kind of people that worked together on our money and reached our financial goals together. I wanted to make something happen because we worked together, not in spite of each other.

For this to happen, I knew I need to learn more about not just money management, but also couple communication. Our problems were not about doing the math, they were about dealing with each other.?

I dove into all the books and research to learn everything I could to build a strong relationship and an exciting financial future.

I want to help couples who are struggling with their next money steps and what to grow with their partner as they step towards financial freedom.?
