I felt powerless after the reversal of Roe v. Wade. Here's how my colleagues and I have channeled our anger.

In the weeks since the Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade, M. Harris & Co.’s leaders have asked what we can do to ensure health care decisions remain between a woman and her doctor. We have asked experts and read articles, and have taken the following actions.?

Our company has donated to three nonprofits:

• The Red River Women's Clinic of Fargo, N.D., the only such clinic in North Dakota, which is readying a new location in Moorhead, Minn.;
• Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri, which opened a clinic in Fairview Heights, Ill., in 2019 in response to Missouri’s already restrictive law; and
• Advocates for Youth, based in Washington, D.C., which works alongside thousands of young people to fight for sexual health and rights.

For years to come, this fight will sit with states. As such, I have personally contributed to three gubernatorial campaigns.?

• Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan (re-election)
• Gov. Tony Evers of Wisconsin (re-election)
• Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania

In addition to protecting our rights to fair elections, they have the power to veto restrictive abortion legislation.
