I feel like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz

I started my journey on LI with an objective but what I found along the way was a purpose...

Having looked back at my career and my life, then placing myself firmly into this very moment to see where I'm at, and then looking ahead into that crystal ball of mine, to see where I'm heading...

I discovered one thing...

Everyone's journey is similar even if the paths are a little different...

During our journey, we will encounter obstacles on our path to what we are looking for, we will meet people who appear to be something they're not, those who are against us and those who will try and block us from reaching our destination...

We will encounter those who wear masks, who hide behind curtains, who use their voice to exert power and fear...

But we will also find friends in unexpected places, those who will stand beside us on our journey, those who will motivate and inspire us not to give up, those that have our backs, fighting the good fight, standing up for what is right...a tight-knit community that shares the tribulations but also the triumphs...

Those who will be our guiding light, our road map, our reason to continue on the quest...our reason...they will be our brain, our heart and our courage...
