It's seeing things like this that makes man want to tool up & go looking for these kinda fools, but if anything that life has taught me is that it is only going to get me more trouble.

The questions I ask myself these days is why are there children like this out alone and why are we not doing anything for them.

My heart aches and tears roll down my cheeks cause I feel I can do more. I have been given a blessed life, but I feel I need to stop chasing things in this horrid world because they are never ending and to focus on things that I have put on a back burner that are far more beneficial and rewarding. Remember tomorrow is not promised to no soul...one love for life..

We have been fortunate to be part of the growth and development of this remarkable young non-profit organisation. We are humbled every day by the wonderful and amazing people we work with and their commitment to children around the world. We are truly blessed to have a multitude of caring and compassionate friends that support our community.

Poverty hits children hardest. It is most threatening to children’s rights: survival, health and nutrition, education, participation, and protection from harm and exploitation. It creates an environment that is damaging to children’s development in every way – mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.

At ChildVision we decided that whether we are given five pounds sterling or five thousand pounds sterling, we would steward it effectively and with integrity . Our promise is that 80% of all public donations go straight to the children and the projects that affect them, while 20% is used for expenses.

In our first year, our goals are:

? to help ensure that every child is able to access a school education. We want to help those missing out on school to get a decent education.

? to lobby on Children’s Rights as most governments promise to protect children’s rights but yet they are still violated.

? to help children that are not cared for and are exploited to be able to access education, specially the disabled.

? to help by providing food and healthcare in schools for children to ensure they are healthy. Being born into Poverty reduces a child’s chances for a brighter future.

? to ensure clean water and adequate sanitation for children.

Without your generosity we would not be able to impact the lives of children in need. And with your continued dedication, we will change the lives of many more in 2013 and the years to come.
