I’ve been working with a great team here at RingCentral for over two years now, everyone in our team pulls together is supportive, reflective and respectful.

It takes effort to contribute and be positive and as my Mother-in-law said to one of my children last night, “it’s easier to react aggressively, always try to be kind and considerate”
I have a mantra pinned to my cork board in the home office; it’s not glitzy, it’s not laminated, it does not contain WOW words, it’s four simple rules.
I try to apply to my anti-Veruca approach to work (rubber sock optional)
1) Ask for help
2) Don’t be defensive
3) Respond don’t react
4) Plan Ahead
“Now” is necessary sometimes but I can usually anticipate when a “now” is coming and can manage it and be respectful of my team mates so that we are well prepared and we can all avoid “fire drills.” As a result the relationships we build are better, stronger and most importantly allow us to deliver as a team to solve the problems that our customers and partners bring to us daily.
