I Don't Rush My Monday Mornings and Neither Should You

Do you have some Mondays where you wake up and you have a big week ahead and you wake up and immediately throw yourself into GETTING STUFF DONE????

This is a BIG week for me and the Nourished Life team! On Wednesday, I am hosting my “Prioritize You” workshop (click here to sign up ) and I will officially be opening the doors to my new Online Coaching Community platform (stay tuned for that) then I head up north to teach two new live class formats at the Sum of Us Fest (I can't wait!)

So, yeah, there is a lot happening this week…and while I found myself wanting to wake up early to get started on my very long to-do list…I paused and held myself accountable to one of the things that I tell my clients all the time “PUT YOU ON YOUR TO DO LIST!”?

So, I spent the first 2 hours of the morning, cleaning my workspace and self-care nook, I did some stretching and breath work, then made myself a cup of coffee and savored each sip while staring out of the window.?

Here's the thing…

By doing this, I was able to start my work day feeling grounded, focused, and supported. I want to make sure that I am able to be fully present for the important items on my to-do list this week, but more importantly, I wanted to make sure that I poured into myself before I started to pour into my work and pour into others.?

My challenge for you this week is to put yourself on your To Do List, first thing in the morning if possible. Do something that will help you feel grounded, supported, and calm. Take a deep breath, write down 3 things that you are grateful for, do some stretches, savor your coffee, dance to some Beyonce, or simply gaze out the window for a few minutes.?

What are you willing to do to prioritize yourself this week??
