"I Don't Need Training"
"I don't need training" -- A silly thing to say!

"I Don't Need Training"

I can’t explain why this week shaped up the way it did, however, I ended up dealing with one businessperson after another who stated, in one way or another, I don’t need training at this time.

That’s an astounding element in the thought process of someone . . . at least it is to my way of thinking.? The fact is, we never have enough professional training in Sales or in Managerial skills, never.? The fact is, too many businesspeople haven’t really had much professional training at all, if they’ve had any at all.? We will never have all the knowledge we could potentially have.? We will never have all the training we really should have.

Professional training in Sales and/or Managerial skills is the preparation every businessperson needs to reach the pinnacle of their abilities.? The silliest statement a businessperson can utter is I don’t need training at this time. ?

Abraham Lincoln, you remember him, he used to live at the White House. ?He said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” The preparation, that first four hours, that’s equivalent to the professional training you could have, and you need that training right now, not at some other time!
