“I don’t like kids”
GoodTherapy says there's nothing wrong with not liking kids: It just means that you're not interested in having a family! It's not a big deal.
But a Good Housekeeping Op disagreed: You can be a parent and still not like kids! Loving motherhood isn't a requirement of being a mom -- you just have to love your kids
On the other hand, The Atlantic thinks people should stop saying they "don't like" kids: Kids are people, too! It's wrong to group them all together just because of their age.
This Substacker's take: At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter whether you like kids or not. What matters is that you treat children -- even if they're not yours -- well.
