'I don't know how to turn my passions into a profitable business...'

You know what you absolutely LOVE doing and you know that you are AWESOME at it. You keep obsessing over business ideas that combine your talents and passions. And you keep coming back to the same few ideas. The type of ideas you know are not likely to make your business more than a hobby. 

I know why you are stuck. I am really sorry to tell you this but I have to...

????Not everything is about you....

BOOOM. Yes you heard me.

Sorry. It's not my intention to accuse you for being egocentric (I've been there). But when you only focus on passion&skills you are only focusing on you. 

I know how it goes, believe me

????I was constantly going over all the things that I was good at and everything I loved doing. And then I would try to figure out how I could build a business from it. 

But every idea I could come up with was not going to get me where I wanted to be in the next 10 years (without living like a monk), travel blogging, writing a book... Or was so narrow that I knew it wouldn't fulfill my multipassionate soul... (photography, social media marketing...).

I was stuck with the same ideas until I did THIS:

????I asked myself the question: 'what does the world need?' 

I added PURPOSE to the equation.

????'What change can I make in the world by using my skills, talents and passions?'

And don't worry, if you haven't looked at it that way it doesn't mean you are egocentric. Because in the end, everyone wants to have a meaningful life. Everyone wants to make a difference. 

????We just tend to forget that sometimes, because it's so much easier to answer the question: 'what do you love'? Than 'what gives meaning to your life?'

So to help you with that, I will give you 3 prompts to help you find purpose:

1. What do you value? What is important to you in your life? What do you value in other people?

2. What change do you wish to see in the world?

3. What problems you have encountered do you think you can solve?

Combine that with your skills & passions and you WIN!
