I did it!

Last week was one of those you wish would have lasted forever! I had the pleasure of attending an Experience Strategy Design training by Aga Szóstek. I didn't expect anything else other than it'd be special. Aga knows what to do to make it fun and of value.
The time frame, the schedule, the program, the audience, the author... all made perfect sense. I felt both comfortable and challenged. Not because I'd have to compete with anyone, but because I had a chance to work on my own strategy (which everyone knows can be hard) with the support of an expert. And to learn to use the tools enabling me to focus on the merit. What's all the fuss about? Well, not everyone has the level of enthusiasm comparable to Aga's nor her professional background.
Experience design is something we can use to "stand out (with) by mixing business with (...)". It's that extra dimension once added to our service, product, organisation, increases its attractiveness and can lead to a much bigger and more valuable gain as a positive feedback from the customers, an increase of sales or employee retention. It's often underestimated and ignored, yet it is what makes all the difference. Multiple examples in the world of hard figures and numbers prove that to be true (just think of your favorite smartphone or music provider and ask yourself why you like them so much? ;)
Well, I learned about the training with Aga a few days prior to its kick off. I don't remember deciding on anything that quickly. Perfect timing, a perfect decision, a great experience (nomen omen).
