When the Russian invaded Afghanistan 1979 when I was 12 years old they said I cannot fight the communists "but I did” They said you cannot escape Afghanistan from the communists "but I did” when I came to Pakistan in refugee Camp they said it is not possible to go to America as a asylum refugee." but I did” They said I wouldn't see the rest of my family again after being separated for six years because of the communist invasion "but I did” They said I had only a ninth grade education and I could not make it in America as a successful man.“but I did” They said I cannot become a American citizen I don't know enough American history “but I did” they said in America you cannot find a good loyal American women “but I did” They said I could not follow my dream and become an actor "but I did” They said I don't have a chance in Hollywood because I am from Afghanistan and Foreigner .“but I did” They said your not strong enough to pay your dues for America and Afghanistan and go fight against the terrorists in the frontline with the U.S Marines “but I did” they said you don't have enough education to become an author “but I did” They said I would not find someone as great as Lt Col Michael Moffett and” WPG publishers” to help me with my book “but I did” They said our book would never get nominated or win a gold medal for the MWSA “but it did” They said none of your movies would win an Oscar “but Argo did” They said the president of the United States of America don't have a time for our book. They are not going to response back.“but President Bush and President Obama did” They said my story did not have a chance to become a feature film and that no Producer would come forward, to make it possible, “but Lance Miccio did”
This is a very good lesson for everyone. We are surrounded by so much negative energy and we have to have faith, hope ,and passion and accomplish our dreams and not give up and make it happen. And Ask yourself six questions .who am I ? .who I want to be ?. where I want to be ? what’s my dream ? .what’s my passion ? .what’s my hobby ?. .once you answer all this six questions to yourself no one Cant stop you.
