So many people acknowledge and recognize
all the things that I've accomplished and done.
But what they don't know is that you empowered
me to be the person that I am today.
You liberated me and uncovered the truth in me.
You got me out of my comfort zone and pushed me
beyond what I thought I was capable of.
And you backed me up and supported me when 
I was too worn down and tired to go on.
You were my leaning post, steady and strong.
So many times I wanted to give up.
I thought that I had enough.
But you were the sail that caught the wind.
You were the one to draw me back in.
I owe everything to you.
So if someone wants to acknowledge what I've done
they are going to have to recognize you too.
I couldn't have done what I've done without you!
