I-Connect @ ISB | 5th Edition - Hyderabad

Spent this Friday at the Indian School of Business campus attending I-Connect @?ISB?| 5th Edition, a startup-focused event, engaging in insightful discussions, and fostering meaningful connections through dynamic networking.?Kudos and cheers to the team of I-Venture @ ISB for making me part of this priceless learning event. True to the global ethos and diverse nature of Indian School of Business, the event was seamlessly organised and each session segued into another with curation of best speakers and thought leaders

"The most meaningful way to succeed is to help others succeed." Adam Grant's thesis, which explores how givers—people who contribute without expecting immediate returns—can achieve success in the long run was best reiterated by Prof. Bhagwan Chowdhry?in the opening note/keynote address and in his professorial style and trademark wit+pithy, implored us to network meaningfully and purposefully. His joke about being laconic is vigorously expressive and to the point!! One of the best opening key notes heard in the recent past

I-Venture @ ISB's?Start-to-scale support to ensure startups reach market and grow was superbly+succintly explained by Mr Saumya Kumar Loved their three pillared interventions and neat three pronged approach (Money Enablement, Market Access and Mentoring Services)

Mr. Suresh Krishna Bandi moderated the first session about leveraging?the policy environment. India's startup policy landscape indeed needs to be navigated if one were to look at the sheer intrinsic complexity and diversity of socio-economic variables.

Harkesh Mittal sir's jokingly said sentences carried an underlying truth in entreprenuership education, using humor as a vehicle to make a point more palatable or memorable. Wit and sarcasm can subtly highlight serious issues, making them more digestible while still conveying depth. For example, his quip,"Good advice should withstand scrutiny. Cross-check it with other trusted sources and see if it makes sense for your specific needs" sounds plain and dry, but holds a profound truth about choosing right advisors/mentors in #startupindia

The backstory and growth story of T-Hub becoming the hub of hubs in #happeninghyderabad and how it was distinctly taking a strategic and sectoral focus for incubation and acceleration services really stood out for me (as elucidated by Mr.Sujit Jagirdar)?

The stellar quality engineering team and their scale up at @u21 was lucidly explained?by Mr. Ranga Potluri?over coffee and cake. Probably, one of the silent successful edtech stories in #hyderabad that I could relate to!!!

Professors need to be entrepreneurs because the future of education demands not just knowledge dissemination but the ability to innovate, adapt, and create impact beyond the classroom. Time for Pracademicians might solve India's tech and managerial problems in higher education. What do you think?

Dr Dr. Tapan Sahoo sir's recounting of corporate innovation extravaganza at Maruti Suzuki India Limited is inspiring and worth making a casestudy

P.S:?DLabs at the Indian School of Business incubated Bangalore Rusks & Snacks Pvt Ltd (Ruskle) stall was a great show!!!?Ruskle, a brand of flavoured rusks was born through a need to innovate in the beloved Rusks category. Through product innovation and understanding consumer tastes, indeed it is a?premium and indulgent brand of Rusks that has a flavour for everyone in the family. Bought three packets of Ruskle and recommend them strongly (loved their messaging)
