(I Can't Get No) UX-faction

When designing a website, thinking of the user experience (UX) is crucial to communicating the right message. That is why not only the visual creation of the site is relevant, but the usability must be too.?

Creating a site for different screens comes with distinct conditions. The success of a site is in the hand of the designer. They have to intrigue and motivate the possible viewer.

Tell them more and more

Colors, pictures, and patterns are supposed to be helpful to the navigation of the site. They influence the emotional connection of the user to have a better interaction. This is all correlated with the psychology of the design. Subtle details may not be obvious but weight the UX.

  • Reciprocity: if you do something for the users, they will reciprocate. This is best demonstrated in newsletters and subscriptions. By giving the users exclusive content or special offers, they will stay loyal to you.?
  • ?Framing: the human mind is used to make comparisons. Using the Gestalt equality principle, we can frame various elements and highlight the one we care to promote.
  • Prominence: users search for what matters now. That is why we usually see in e-commerce sites pop us that have discounts because of a holiday, such as mothers day, thanksgiving, and Christmas, which are popular times when the user is looking to buy.?
  • Human touch: social media covers a lot of ground when establishing a relationship with the user. Having discrepancies between the UX and UI, brandwise, can cause distrust in the user.

Fire the user's imagination?

Trends are a big part of the user experience, sure, but the importance of getting to know what the target audience needs, should clear the picture when deciding what to design. Always design from the brandbook to the UX.

Is the user watching your site from a phone, a tablet, or another format? The experience may vary depending on the display and the use. Mobile users have a sense of touch and expect quicker and interactive responses, while pc users are comfortably seated and should click with more pause.?
