Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the M.S. thesis published in 2002 by Mario Guadamuz, P.E. If you have access to one of the libraries in the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), I encourage you to read Mario's work. While it's now 20 years old, his work still holds up.
