I Can and I Will
I read that courage is not the absence of fear, and most courageous acts are done before our doubts are banished. What we do with those voices heard in our minds will determine the results we will get. All of us have faced self-doubts. It’s the actions we take which will dictate the path we follow. In order to defeat the self-doubts when they arise, we must look this fear in the face and with determination of “I can and I will.”
Listen to words of Vincent van Gogh “If you hear a voice within you say you cannot paint, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.” It was Eleanor Roosevelt who said, “You must look fear in the face. You must: "Do the thing you think you cannot do.”
When the inevitable challenges came, lean into it and go for it! Ask yourself, “Why should I give in to doubts and quit?” Life is better on the other side of doubts.
Napoleon Hill wrote, “When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal.” (Think and Grow Rich)
