my post today is about attitude...............................
"At the 2005 World Championships in Bormio, Italy, Bode Miller won two gold medals, in super-G and downhill. In the downhill portion of the combined, he lost a ski 16 seconds into the race, but decided to continue down the course nevertheless at speeds up to 83 km/h on one ski, before sliding out near the bottom nearly two minutes later. In business we all have bad days. I for sure have had my share of them. When I am having a bad day, I always reflect on watching this live on tv and laughing at first with my friends and then discussing the attitude and commitment he had. Bode wanted to finish the race and place, even though he was having a bad day. And even though he did eventually ‘slide out’, it still is one of the most watched ski videos on You Tube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LatVt6F8whQ
My point today is simple enough. When you are having a bad day, never give up and even if you do not place, you still might end up delivering some amazing results.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post. You can follow me on twitter @tgsaet for more inspirations if you like and as always………….
