I Was Called Out of My Name!

I was called out of my name and I loved it! I have been on the receiving end of much negativity in the past; from toxic relationships to hostile work environments. Thankfully, these days, I have been taking in much more positivity. The more positive messages I receive, the more I realize that name-calling could be the perfect motivator!

So, I say, let’s start name-calling!

Yes, you read that right. I propose we apply this usually derogatory practice to a positive and more inspirational approach.

If you are a believer of manifestation, positivity and “out with the old and in with the new”, you’ll appreciate this. I have been working hard to let go of the uncontrollable and instead, embrace opportunity. I have had this on my mind after being “name-called” several times recently. I have bypassed all the ‘Karen’ jokes (which I take light-heartedly) and focus on emphasizing all the positives.

I have been fortunate enough to receive much praise recently, both on the professional and personal fronts. My top favorite ‘names’ are:

1.?????Genius; who doesn’t want to be called this?

2.?????Powerhouse; need I say more?

3.?????Inspirational; this one pulls at my heart strings…after all, I am a coach!

4.?????Impactful; what a compliment!

5.?????Relentless; this I am.

I always consider my sources. When such praise comes from leaders and clients alike, I know I am on the right track! At the end of the day, I am ME; Karen; Kay. That being said, I look forward to the next time I am called out of my name.
