His path to become the finest debut artist in Bollywood was not as straightforward as that of any other actor who has a family connection. Realistically speaking, he couldn't go there.

Born on July 6th, 1985, as Ranveer Singh Bhavnani into a Sindhi family, he abandoned the last name "Bhavnani" because it was "too lengthy, too many syllables."

He attended a drama class by happenstance when he was graduating in his 2nd year.

He was asked to perform in front of everyone by his instructor. Even those who didn't comprehend his language responded emotionally to the Hindi sentences he read aloud, impressing the entire crowd.
