At 17, I was a salesman offering telephone disinfection services to small business owners in their offices while my friends were busy enjoying summer vacation. Little did I know that this humble beginning would be the first step in a journey of personal transformation leading me to become an HR Leader, Business Coach, and Serial Entrepreneur. This journey, spanning over four decades, has been guided by five core principles: Hunger for goal achievement, clarity of thoughts, focus on career growth, action-taking ability with persistence, and adherence to self-discipline. I never imagined that my purpose in life (my why) would inspire me to set my vision “Empower 100,000 entrepreneurs to achieve massive business growth and create lives filled with prosperity, fulfilment and lasting impact” for the business owners with whom I interacted while I was 17 years old student.

My Transformation Journey

While studying in a municipal secondary school in Marathi medium I moved to R M Bhat Junior College where my academic excellence was revealed by resonating well with a higher version of the Marathi language and becoming a Marathi poet and short story writer. I am grateful to Mrs. Sheela Kirane, my subject professor of Marathi language for empowering me to tap the hidden potential of being a scholar of my mother tongue. My graduation study from D G Ruparel College was a turning point in my career developing my prowess in Hindi literature and a keen interest in one of the most complex subjects in the Arts stream, Economics. Being a student of Economics, influenced my personality, my thinking pattern and my paradigm shift from the corporate world to the business world at a later stage. I express my gratitude to the late Prof. Yeolekar whose exemplary teaching method of simplifying theories of Economics most lucidly to us brought much-needed relief in our college life. I still remember his appeal to a select few students of the entire Economics in a small conjunction in his office that our batch had a good prospect of breaking the college topper record in maths-stats paper in the final year examination. Little did I know that it would pave the way for me to strive to get the highest score in Stats-Maths in the college. I used to be the last student to leave the college library at 9 pm because I could not afford to buy a book on Statistics when a friend of mine asked me to return his book, which I borrowed from him due to some misunderstanding in communication two months before the final year examination of BA (Economics). The key takeaway of the said incident was whenever you are challenged by the circumstances around you, never react but respond with your excellence to overcome the obstacle and emerge as a winner.

From selling telephone disinfection services, I embarked on a path of relentless self-improvement and growth. Took up the job as a commercial apprentice at the age of 20 to achieve the dual objectives of my father to realise his dream of joining his organization and use the said opportunity to continue my graduation and post-graduation while in employment working in evening and night shift duties to attend my full-time day classes. I remember having declined the offer of employment at the bank since there was no shift duty available in the said bank and I had a career goal to pursue full-time post-graduation in Human Resource Management while pursuing my job. It is essential to take risks in our journey and get paid a rich dividend for the risk we take. Through persistent efforts, I climbed the corporate ladder and expanded my horizons, embracing roles that included:

HR Leader: Shaping and nurturing talent within organizations.

Business Coach & Executive Coach: Guiding business owners and corporate leaders through their transformation journeys for exponential growth.

Serial Entrepreneur: Launching and successfully managing multiple ventures.

I kept expanding my workplace boundaries and stepping up my career progression to go beyond the horizon by engaging in various educational and professional studies leading to certifications and diplomas not only in human resource management but also in Learning and Development, TQM, Quality Excellence, Business Excellence, Fellowship in OD, ZED Assessment, Auditing in Work Place Management, Industrial Safety, Six Sigma every 2-3 years that added a competitive edge to my profile and credentials. I could offer the best comprehensive service package to my employers during corporate days and subsequently my clients in the coaching business, in line with my philosophy of extending 10x value to my clients.
