I Am, U Are, We Are Australian

Its not a joke, I get asked everday what Nationality am I. I've said it thousands of time, Australian. I'm as true blue as they come, green and gold through and through. I just struggle, wearing thongs.

Why, I'm like Michael McIntyre, the comedien, my calf muscles could give his a run for there money. I was born 3 Pound, 11 Ounces. That was pretty small. I skipped the crawling part, that was a waste of time. However whilest being that small and want to be upright, no walker let me touch the ground with both feet flat.

So back to singing with One Voice, if you want to be part of our country, you need to inhale everything we stand for, I'm not saying you can't teach us a better way to do things or another way. However there is certain things that will remain true blue, like, Horse's by Daryl Braithwaite gets everyone singing, John Farnham is a legend. Hitting The Hong Kong Matresss all night long and signing Khe San at the top of your lungs when it comes on, are just our way of living. So if you don't know any of those songs, I strongly suggest you listen to them today.

Having your mates around for BBQ, coming through the side gate or back door, these are things I grew up with. Open fridge policy, open pantry policy, everyones always welcome, It's The Australian way. Just don't abuse me in my own home, or disrespect me, I'll call you on it and if you can't handle that, I'll show you the front door.
