I Am Still Standing
There are times in our lives when we feel like everything is against us, that no one gets it, that we swim somehow upstream and our arms and legs grew tired. Usually during such times we need to relax as if floating in the eye of the storm. I have days when I am angry on people and forget to look at myself and consider it’s my duty to set an example. The problem I was able to identify is that we are not as strong as we imagined. However, there is no better time to feel the joy and truly indulge ourselves with some eggnog.
It’s the end of the year and I have prepared the most extravagant New Year party. I am a hopeless romantic when it comes to beginnings, to setting resolutions. There is always hope for the year to come, for us becoming better at whatever makes us happy. It’s during my hardest moments that I found the energy to see the silver lining. That’s why I love my job so much – whenever you feel blue you can throw a party at the Blue... Radisson Blu. I made a little word play, but it’s not far from the truth – I chose to be an event planner so I can be close to every special party in your life.
So, Saturday the 15th, we are celebrating life and next year’s color (which is not blue), it’s Living Coral! We get to decorate the Christmas three in an exclusive location: Radisson Blu Hotel. It’s a pre-New Year Party, because the same hotel will be hosting it. You can honor the theme by bringing a tree decoration as Pantone Institute suggested to be fashionable in the year to come. We are going to celebrate our inner child and trust that we are going to be visited by Santa.
“Christmas, children, is not a date. It is a state of mind. ”
