I am so very hurt by the way our country has been exposed showing it's hateful ways, greed, lack of values and unwillingness to help those in need.

I love my people and found out lately that I also love this country, much to my chagrin. I was very sad by the attack, trumps evil and the deep separation that has existed much to long. I am praying daily for God's intervision into the hate, evil and destructive behavior.

When I was in college my english teacher shared this word with us and got my attention, "CHAGRIN" I thought I would never use it but I found a place for it today. It felt very right for how I was feeling and so I used it after 35 years, smile.

She told us that everything that you have learned in our education would find a place in your life at some point, smile.
