I feel sexy when I dance
On a Friday in the pub, 100 Leopards stand 2 in a row. The population of this weaponry climbs out of the foxhole. They all have a boom box. The General of the Division, Armored Infantry, gives the signal. Loudspeakers on, is the command.
The cannons rotate in circles. A beer comes out of the bag. The grenades go in and the barrel is empty. No clatter of arms and a surprised opponent. The opponent has no idea. Weird boys and girls over there.
Then the conductor, the general waves. Everything goes round and round like in the crazy mill of life. The last gatekeeper also comes out in Leopard 2. It's the King. Flanked by Armin van Buuren. A look is exchanged, Maxima sees that it is all right.
A salute goes off, while the opponent watches. No Boombox, no defense. The battle is over, there is only dancing. The staring on the other side begins. East Berlin, Unter den Linden. Small Orchestra, Harry Jekkers, do the rest. I'm stuck next to it.
100 tanks rehearsed a dance not to fire. A Dance, a Tango, a Paso Doble, Foxtrot. Just ask how the steps go with a dance teacher.
The guns go round and round and have no fear. There is dancing to music. Music by Michael Jackson. Music by ABBA. "Heal the world" is ready. Once again, the Leopards do their rounds with a blank stare.
A round trip without danger. An AWACS floats through the air and F-16s take off to amplify the sound. The other side becomes quiet and wants to dance along. But there is no song yet. Actually, the song has to come from the other side. The crew of the Leopards and submarines, planes and flat bottoms are ready.
Sing the enemy away, climb out of the armor and show what it's about. Peace. A song and a dance will do the rest, Nicole is German. A little peace, a little love and the Eurovision song contest is a success.
There is the general. A horn in his hand. Ready for battle. He has a white handkerchief, but he keeps it in his pocket. It's time for music and dancing. Today the day starts with a smile. In the galley on the 013, a bottle of champagne is opened underwater. The Leopards occupation watches directing, while the airmen warm up. High in the air. It's time for a dance.
The other side also likes to dance. Kissing a girl again. His girl. Home. Life is precious and love is untouchable. Dance like it's your last day. Better stolen well than badly conceived.
Get out of the Leopard 2, do a dance and the rest will follow. Tip to the General: Spice Girls. "If you want to be my lover". Yesterday is History, Today is a Gift, Tomorrow is a Mystery.
