When an Autistic person or person with ADHD says something that does not sound true in your world, do not dismiss it, because it is true for them in their world. Just because you don't understand, does not mean the other person is wrong. Instead (insert spoon boy voice from the Matrix), Instead, look at it this way, there is no spoon. Special needs is not special. It's a SUPERPOWER! And it is but a mere reflection for you to find yourself in. You don't need to argue with the autistic person as people continue to do with me, even though they know that in todays society that really paints them as an asshole. Mind blowing some times, but it's easy to see when that's how you've been treated your entire life and have been fighting towards understanding why only to arrive at 50 years old to realize that no, you had autism and just because I didn't have a label people, starting with kids, felt like they had the right to be dicks. All throughout grade school and high school. I had a small group of friends and my true friends I now knew were the ones who tolerated me and loved me regardless for it. I'm now going back to atone for the areas in my life where I can see as the universe reveals more to me and to apologize for I did not know I was autistic.

So if you are/were my friend you know why I FEEL so strongly when you attack against my divergence, especially when no consideration is given. Not an excuse, just an explanation, one of which, my mind is still being polished in Language towards so I can be more effective in my day to day communications as I do well in writing as it is easier for me to focus. I am able to perform and looking very much forward to doing so again in front of the camera, but this time as me.
