If I am not for myself and work assiduously to reach my goals no matter what others have done to assist me, I will not succeed in this world.
The aforementioned mantra has resounded in Zionist circles for the last 120 years at least. Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka once stated the following: "I don't know any other way to live but to wake up everyday armed with my convictions, not yielding them to the threat of danger and to the power and force of people who might despise me." His words concomitant to the mantra above might very well sum up the raison d'etre behind the diplomatic, financial, and military resolve of the Zionist movement for the nearly thirty years before the Balfour Declaration and the nearly thirty years following it until the nascent State of Israel was founded. Dr. Einat Wilf's article in the November 2, 2017 issue of Algemeiner.com "Jewish Action --Not Balfour--Created Israel" is absolutely spot on!
