I am?

A forsaken spirit

An unwanted guest

A landless and stateless being

Flowing like a roaring river?

In quest to empty myself into the sea of existence?

A displaced person

From all things familiar and memorable

Soaring aghast with the violent flow of the wind

Regarded as worldly waste?

In the doorway of strangers?

Burning in the fire of separation?

Clutching my empty begging bowl

Revealing my bewildered soul

To the blind thinkers around the globe

Asking: “Where is my home”?

I am an unwanted refugee

A spawn from the East

A seeker of leniency

Broke in quest of asylum in the flowerbed of your compassion

A rejected seed

I am a refugee

Uprooted from my honoured source

Displaced and ousted?

An ignored life form

This is the?product of the nefarious black soldiers of death?

From the polluted soil of my native land

And so I am wearing the cloak of an escapee?

A progeny of tyranny

Longing for a haven

My forehead has been marked

As the undesirable one!

My weary legs

In search, after a civil society

Where I can rest my young head

On a small rock of humanity,?

Asking: “Where is my home”?
