I am grateful to have been trained well and taught the right habits. For an open home, most agents open the door, let buyers through and hope for the best. Not on my watch. I don't leave things to chance. I was trained to run open homes with meticulous precision. I was trained to follow the buyers up via email, call and text message on the Saturday afternoon. No exceptions. If any buyers ever slipped through the cracks, it wasn't pretty!
I was taught the importance of presenting property at 'showroom' standard. Things like ensuring windows and sliding doors are wide open to let the breeze and sunshine inside. All lights and fans on, with nice music playing in the background. All these little things matter. People might laugh and think they're minor, but I can tell you, they're major. I take these '1 percenters' very seriously, and if people out there laugh, let them laugh I say. I care more about the result.
