I Am Going On Tour.......

There are many pros and cons to being an entrepreneur but for me, one of the reasons I became an entrepreneur, is because of the sense of freedom it gives me, particularly in regard to creativity, spontaneity and realms of belief.

In my working career, I have, unfortunately, felt the prickles of dismissiveness, disparaging leadership and limitations put on who I am and who I can be. As a minority in the professional working world in the UK, there are various reasons I can call upon as to why this has happened but ultimately my tales of "working woes", whatever the reason, are not going to be very different to the many cases that have been spoken about before me and after me.

What I choose to take from the situation, however, is unique to me! As well as up to me! And what I took from them was that if I am to truly fulfil my God-given potential I would have to give myself the opportunities denied to me, and back myself!

Easter has just passed and as a Christian, it really is a great time to reflect and refill one's vessel with faith and belief. This tour I am about to embark on has truly tested my faith and belief and I have had to dig deep to be bold and step into my destiny. There is a saying that "there is no testimony without a test!"

And even though I have embarked on a WiBT Women in Blockchain Talks Tour before, a European Tour in 2022 and more recently a UK Tour covering our Global Chapters in Manchester, Brighton, Birmingham (the regions matter!!!) and, of course, London; there is a BIG difference between being a few hours away from home and being across the Atlantic in big ole America with its sprawling lands, overwhelming cities and big characters...alone!!!

So, there but for the grace of God go I! And I invite you to come along with me!

I know not everyone is a believer or has a relationship with God and that is ok, you can still follow me and my 6-week journey across the States. I am sure that there will be lessons for everyone on either a personal, professional and/or spiritual level. And just to say even though I was brought up in the Church - 7th Day of God, I am a work in progress when it comes to being a Christian. With that being said I am so very grateful for my relationship with God, as it has kept me going, kept me safe and purposeful over the years.

So, let's talk about the tour!

It all came about after my confirmation and invitation to speak at NFT NYC, which I also spoke at in London back in 2022 "NFT LDN", and then The Texas Eclipse - a celebration of music, art, space, and technology during the 2024 total solar eclipse!

I thought "Well since I have a good following and community in North America why not explore it and see what magic I can create there?!"

In addition to this, several people situated there had voiced starting WiBT Women in Blockchain Talks Global Chapters, including our North America Global Ambassador Bonnie Collins-Harmon

Women in Blockchain Talks as most people know is an award-winning global diversity-driven blockchain networking, training and educational platform. Our mission is to give anyone the skills and confidence – regardless of age, gender, nationality or background – to blaze their own personal or professional trail within the metaverse and close the gender gap.

And we are doing it! And making a positive difference!

Our numerous events have been full, fruitful and fulfilling for those attending, helping them on their journey, be it as beginners or experienced in the blockchain and #web3 space.

So, after Texas, I will attend The Summer of Love event which is part of the COACHELLA MUSIC FESTIVAL, LLC . This was wholly unexpected but when you open yourself to your God-given journey and say "yes" unexpected and wonderful things will happen!

Following the above event I will host the first of several "WiBT in....." events! And the first one is in Los Angeles! Beverly Hills to be exact! And I truly cannot contain my excitement about this!
