I am feeling proud and thankful today...

It has been a difficult time for everyone but the response from individuals and businesses has been incredible.

As usual, I was reading through my e-mails drinking a strong coffee and read two messages from clients giving praise to Momentum.

First one was for our sheer professionalism and guidance through the process.

The second e-mail was thanking us for completing a thorough due-diligence analysis of their activities which resulted in a significant financial R&D Tax Credit cash benefit. The Company is now in a position not to furlough a proportion of its staff.

So, this has made me think; and as business owners, we are all doing some thinking at the moment!

Do we really do enough to say 'Thank-You' to our clients, suppliers and more importantly our dedicated team?

Just last night I was talking to an MD of one of our suppliers and I said thank-you, I am very happy with your services and send me your invoice for immediate payment. It was met with. “Awe, that’s lovely to hear Tom and thank-you, I will pass this on to the wider team”

In the past, let’s face it, we have all taken things for granted at times. What this Covid-19 situation has taught me is to be grateful for people who try, to say thank-you when I am happy and to try harder to recognise and praise those who are loyal.

As a pre-Easter thank you to my fantastic team at Momentum, they all received a delivery at home today with a personal handwritten note. Delighted to also support a local business and work with the team at Neill Wines in Groomsport to hand-pick a selection of wines and craft beers for each of the Momentum family.

A ‘cheers’ to their hard work and dedication and a positive look forward to the weeks ahead!
