I am the Eggman
I AM THE EGGMAN
What’s your soundtrack?
Mine doesn’t make sense to anyone except me.
Sometimes in business and life, you need a bit of fun. Those who love music and have a long memory of music usually have go-to tracks or LPs that either motivate them or bring a moment of pleasant memories.
After reading this, you might stop and share what you love in music and what great memories you have in the comments.
Yesterday, my IT consultant from CommsIT flew in to bring me a computer with a truckload more grunt for AI and review the ever-increasing level of security we are installing at Your Business Angels.
We often talk about music and when we walked in, he asked me to play Dark Side of the Moon. I hadn’t played it for years and the copy I bought in 1974 is still in great shape, great analogue sound.
He wanted it “played loud, OK” while he worked. Rebuilding computers is a mundane task that can tolerate loud music, he said.
Stephen Dunn from Madison Lawyers is the lawyer for Your Business Angels, and a lot of my clients always end a conversation about music. For such a “hard-arse” lawyer, he gets very emotional about some songs.
Ken and Stephen think “Blood on the Tracks” is Dylan’s best LP.
So here is the soundtrack for my funeral, and it only makes sense to me
1)????? I am the walrus – Beatles (I am the egg man)
2)????? The Eggplant That Ate Chicago – Dr West’s Medicine Show & Junk Band
3)????? Ordinary people – Neil Young
4)????? Representing the Mambo – Little Feet
5)????? Louie Louie – The Kinsman
