4 Simple LinkedIn Hacks to 10X Your Visibility

After working 1on1 with a LinkedIn coach, I learned how LinkedIn actually works. If you’ve been trying to grow on LinkedIn for any period of time, you probably know LinkedIn doesn’t work like Facebook, Instagram, or the Tok.

I made a few simple tweaks to my daily content to grow, engage, and connect with thousands of followers.

(1)??? Viral Content

I’ll be the first one to admit I hate the word “viral.” It sounds like some kind of thing my doctor needs to fix. However, it’s an important concept when creating content.

The first thing I did was spend time researching the content on LinkedIn that gets engagement. Don’t reinvent the wheel. There’s a certain vibe here, and you want to vibe with that vibe, too.

Finding quotes and videos that are already going viral is your key to rapid follower growth. You can take these bits of content and adapt them as your own. Share your perspective. (Of course, you’ll always give credit to the original source, when possible).

(2)??? Engagement

Once I began engaging with other creators on LinkedIn on a daily basis, my growth skyrocketed. Building your own “engagement tribe” is a great way to grow on LinkedIn quickly.

LinkedIn likes that early engagement from others. This means the likes, comments, and reshares within the first hour.

When you go engage with other creators, most of them will come back to engage with you. That starts building your own ecosystem of engagement that tells LinkedIn your content is worth reading.

(3)??? Talk “With” Your Audience

Nobody likes to be preached at. We live in a culture that’s already telling us “5 ways to do this…” or “10 steps to achieving…” It can be exhausting.

Why not talk “with” your audience and find a way to relate like a peer, not a guru? Offer your audience a “30-second mental vacation” with a positive and uplifting post. When you do this, your audience will grow, and they’ll associate you with a positive vibe.

(4)??? Share Your Story

It’s no secret that storytelling is the best way to connect with people. As human beings, we’re wired for story. People love connecting with someone who can clearly articulate a relatable story.

There are many different types of stories you can tell on LinkedIn, from your origin story, an overcoming story, a breaking barriers story, or even a client’s success story.

Sharing your story on a weekly basis is a perfect way to connect with your followers.
